Anti-bullying Network

The Scottish Executive has established the Network so that teachers, parents and young people can share ideas about how bullying should be tackled. It is freely open to all.

Beat Bullying

Beat bullying aims to reduce and prevent the incidence and impact of bullying, (physical, emotional, verbal, genderised, racist, inter-faith, homophobic) between young people.

Bullying UK

Founded in 1999 by a journalist and her son as a direct result of their experience of dealing with school bullying. Since the charity was founded it has replied to thousands of emails, many of them from parents and children in total despair.

Forces Helpline

Website provided by ex-forces personnel to help address any bully or bullying issues you may be experiencing or have experienced whilst serving in the Navy, Army or Royal Air Force.Within the website you will find a comprehensive list of useful contacts as well as a straightforward easy to use set of direct links to websites of other well established organisations. This allows access to a vast amount of information and advice from a wide range of providers.

 

Generation Youth Issues

A site for young people, parents and carers with sections on children's rights, youth and crime, free play, bullying and education.

 

Hopeline Videos

Mail order distributer of videos on a variety of issues dealing with education, preventative health and disability. Most were originally broadcast on British television. A video on bullying is available.

 

Kidscape

Kidscape trains a range of groups including care professionals, teachers,and social workers to protect young people. It produces literature, video's,DVDs and other material designed to give children practical advice to dealwith a wide variety of personal safety issues including bullying, abduction,danger from known adults, and getting lost.
